Eubrontes footprints traditionally have been associated with the Dilophosaurus, an early therapod (beast footed) dinosaur that could measure up to 20 feet long, with a hip height of over a yard. Eubrontes tracks ranging from about 10 to 20 inches long from the back of the footprint to the talon on the longest of the three toes, which is always the central toe. One of Edward Hitchcock's first footprint finds was a Eubrontes track that measured nearly 18 inches.
