Fossil Footprint from Bloody Brook Tavern, Deerfield, Massachusetts

Bloody Brook is a section of South Deerfield, Massachusetts, from which this specimen was collected. It became known as Bloody Brook after a battle was fought on September 18, 1675, between colonists and Indians where most of the colonists were killed.
