the works of God and how minutely & sublimely he describes them- Ask now the beasts says he and they shall teach thee and the fowls of the air and they shall tell thee: for speak to the earth and it shall teach thee and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? And you will know that the book of Job is made up of a debate concerning God’s providence and that it was the grace of God which enabled that patriarch to say I know that my Redeemer liveth and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. And though after my skin worms destroy this body yet in my flesh shall I see God.
